Overview
As part of the From Farm to Fork program, we collaborated with banana and pineapple producers, implementing biodiversity-friendly agricultural practices. To showcase their successes and inspire other farms, we created Historias de Biodiversidad—a content series for the Business and Biodiversity social media channels highlighting the positive impact of sustainable farming.
Challenge
The goal was to communicate the tangible benefits of biodiversity-friendly practices directly from the farmers’ perspective, making the stories engaging, authentic, and visually compelling while raising awareness among stakeholders and the wider public.
Approach
- Selected three standout farms and conducted interviews with farmers to capture their experiences and insights.
- Wrote feature articles spotlighting each farm’s achievements and contributions to biodiversity.
- Coordinated professional photography to produce high-quality visuals that enhanced storytelling.
- Worked closely with the social media coordinator to promote the stories on Instagram and Facebook.
