Overview
As part of the From Farm to Fork program, we launched Deja Huella en la Biodiversidad, a consumer awareness campaign in Costa Rica highlighting the impact of food production on biodiversity and encouraging sustainable choices.
Challenge
To raise awareness, we needed to convince a national supermarket chain to participate, design engaging materials, and ensure consumers understood how their choices affect biodiversity.
Approach
- Partnered with the supermarket chain and an agency in Mexico to develop all promotional materials.
- Educated consumers on how purchasing sustainably produced bananas and pineapples supports biodiversity.
- Supported the Biodiversity Check Agrícola implementation with participating producers, helping them assess and reduce their impact.
- Contributed to content creation and campaign coordination over 18 months of preparation.
